Though we may not be perfect

Becoming an Immortal

A creature that haunts to the night,
a blood of a mortal being,
is a truly a necessity.
A creature who don't die,
because immortality is their dark gift
I'm a human being with an immortal soul,
who is not perfect as everyone else.
As life goes on,
I continue to struggle with pain and sorrow.
Yet, I thought
that somehow life is unbearable
and too hard to handle.
Though I'm not yet a vampire,
I'm a night owl who prowls in the streets
Energized, alert, & electrified.
When the day comes,
I become weak and petrified
foolishly thinking on what if the rays of
the sun
could destroy me and turn me into a dust
I'm waiting for the message of my sire
longing to become one of them.
Obession of being immortal
and aching for preternatural power.
Wanting to be an immortal creature,
with my soul and my body to live forever.
To crawl every night
to prey and lust for blood.
Come to me and give me your vampire kiss,
take me away from the mortal world
give me another life tha one could never imagine
and it would be for eternity.
So sickness and death will touch me no more.
I can venture out to the world
with a companion who will love me and take
care of me
together, what a pair we could make
A chance to be on my own
A chance to become an immortal
and have a chance to live forever.
Freedom

After many attempts,
after many trials,
after many tribulations,
Personal freedom has finally opened its doors.
I could smell the fresh air
I could sense the silence that surrounds me
Longing to be alone,
is already thing of a past.
No one to pleased
No one to ask permissions
No one to ask me to what my obligations are,
No need to worr for someone else
anybody but myself.
Ah, how freedom taste so sweet.
Though life sometimes may sting like a bee,
my head will loft through the air.
Though problems will come and exasperate me,
the anticipation will come and rescue me.
So, challenge I welcome you,
welcome with an open arms.
I will befriend the fear
with my two strong fist,
and accept any consequences
no matter what happens.
So....real world, here I come.
